Tru Loved, a film by Stewart Wade

Eric Borsum

Executive Producer

Eric Borsum is committed to advancing civil rights through social change. Additionally, he is a managing partner with PainePR and leads the agency’s Los Angeles office and its national cause-marketing speciality. He has extensive experience managing multifaceted diversity, social marketing and corporate social responsibility campaigns on a variety of topics, including sexual violence prevention, maternal and child health issues, teen pregnancy prevention, and family planning and mentoring.

Prior to joining PainePR, Eric served as senior vice president at Hill & Knowlton where he helped establish the firm’s gay and lesbian specialty group. He has provided diversity counsel to a wide range of clients ranging from the Los Angeles Gay & Lesbian Center, and California Department of Health Services to E*Trade, Los Angeles Unified School District, Procter & Gamble and DIRECTV. He has served as faculty for the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual Transgender Institute at the Anderson School of Management at the University of California Los Angeles.

Tru Loved provided an opportunity for Eric, his life partner, Executive Producer Eric Miller, and their son Bryan Erickson – who is cast as Roberto in the film – to reunite with fellow gay dads, Producers Antonio Brown and Stewart Wade, after their successful collaboration on Wade’s earlier film Coffee Date.
