Ellie Gerber was born and raised in Fairbury, IL, where as a little girl, she began singing and dancing in local musical productions. As a teenager, she began formal study and training as an actress, and at the age of 19, Ellie relocated to Los Angeles where she had the good fortune of meeting and then training under accomplished actress Zina Provendie, who was head drama coach at MGM from 1957 to 1966. Ellie would be her last student when Zina passed away at the age of 91. Ellie has played lead roles in several independent feature films and she played young Patricia Arquette on the NBC television series Medium.
