Bryan Erickson

Roberto

No stranger to issues faced by young adults advancing through high school, 14-year-old Erickson is enrolled in ninth grade at the Los Angeles Center for Enriched Studies where he maintains high honors. Since 2003 he has attended the Lee Strasberg Institute Young Actors Program where he has studied Basic Theatre Technique, Scene Study and Improvisation under the tutelage of Gerald James and John Ennis.

In 2007 Bryan starred as Philinte in the Strasberg Institute production of Moliere’s The Misanthrope directed by John Ennis and as a member of the company in the improvisational drama Do Re Me Fa Fa Fa Fa directed by Eugene Butler. Previously he was featured as Billy Flynn in Chicago/Razzle Dazzle and as a member of the chorus in Rent and West Side Story in productions by the Strasberg Institute.

From 2002 to 2006 Bryan studied at Catskills West Drama Camp where he was cast as lead in a number of musical productions including Bye Bye Birdie (Albert), Newsies (Jack Kelly), Into the Woods (The Baker), Oliver! (Fagin) and Annie (Daddy Warbucks).

In addition to performing, Bryan actively supports human rights initiatives. In 2004 he visited Thailand to support his father who was speaking at the International AIDS Conference, and in 2006 he appeared alongside Julianne Moore at a media event to encourage support for the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.

Additionally, he performed at the Hollywood Avalon Nightclub in Dream 2 AIDS Benefit after studying hip hop dance techniques with Kellee McQuinn of Los Angeles-based KidTribe.
