Morgan Early is a Northern California native who recently graduated with Honors from UCLA. Her study of film and theatre has included many aspects, though she has focused on acting and directing. In addition to her courses at UCLA she has trained at the British American Drama Academy and the Lee Strasberg Institute, where she also took filmmaking courses. She is an active member of the Los Angeles Theatre Ensemble, and recently played Ellen in the critically acclaimed original play Wounded. Morgan also flexed her directing muscles for the Ensemble when she directed the world premiere of the quirky dark comedy Ran Wild by award-winning playwright Rose Martula. Morgan’s interest in Tru Loved was originally sparked by the story’s subject matter, as Morgan has two gay parents and has worked closely with organizations such as PFLAG and COLAGE. She is thrilled to see a film telling a story related to her own family and friends.
