Growing up, Jay Costelo never thought he’d ever pursue a career in acting, but he eventually fell into it. He is also an artist and former musician. With his roots coming from theatre, he has been in such plays as The Goverment Inspector and The Time Of Your Life. He was told by a number of directors to focus on comedy. He accepted the advice, and is an alumni of The Second City and LA Connection Comedy Theatre, where he wrote/performed sketch comedy and improv. Soon after he began getting work in commercials, feature films, and television shows. Some of his credits include: a guest starring role on WB’s 2002 show Do Over, Butcher House (which remained #1 On Demand while it was available), voice recordings for Disney, Crush On U (directed by Master P, playing opposite Romeo), and many others.
