I’ve written everything from poetry and plays to half a novel (in fact, I have an essay coming out in the upcoming book Donors/Dads: Stories of Gay Men and Parenting from The Haworth Press), but my primary focus has been on screenwriting and directing. Here are some highlights:

Tru Loved, Writer/Director, a feature-length romantic comedy currently in pre-production. Produced by Tru Loved Productions, LLC in association with BrownBag Productions. Shooting scheduled for summer, 2007.

Coffee Date (2006), Writer/Director, feature film version; still playing the international film festival circuit (over 30 festivals so far); limited theatrical release (11 cities) by Film and Music Entertainment; starring Wilson Cruz, Jonathan Silverman, Sally Kirkland, Deborah Gibson, Jason Stuart and Elaine Hendrix. Kevin Thomas of the Los Angeles Times called the movie "a standout."and Michael Fox of The Village Voice called it "a warm-hearted tale carried by genuine affection and a charming cast." Coffee Date won an Audience Award at the Breckenridge Film Festival and was voted Best Feature Film by audiences at the Sedona International Film Festival. I was named by Outfest 2006 (the Los Angeles Gay and Lesbian Film Festival) as one of their "Five in Focus" filmmakers to watch. DVD scheduled for release in summer, 2007. More information at:

Stag Party (2004), Writer/Director, short film starring Elaine Hendrix, Joe Smith, and Tim Hamelen. Screened at over 15 film festival worldwide.

Coffee Date (2000), Writer/Director, short film version,. Screened at over 35 film festival worldwide, winning a number of awards (both audience awards and jury awards). Available on the DVD compilation Straight Men and the Men Who Love Them (Ariztical Releasing).

Ich wünsch Dir Liebe (Wish List), a feature-length romantic comedy co-written with Michael Fischa, produced for German television and first aired in Spring, 1999. Subsequently released theatrically in Germany. Directed by Wiktor Grodecki.

Love Notes, a feature-length coming-of-age/gay love story, optioned by Bohemia Entertainment . Option now expired.

On The Line, a feature-length romantic comedy/thriller optioned by Joanna Lancaster (executive producer, Ruthless People). Option now expired.
